Permanent Makeup Policies & Procedures

Please carefully review the following contraindications and studio policies prior to booking your appointment. Permanent makeup is not suitable for everyone, and certain medical conditions, medications, skin conditions, and lifestyle factors may impact your eligibility, healing, or final results.

By booking an appointment, submitting payment, completing intake forms, and/or receiving services from Vibe Permanent Makeup Studio, you acknowledge and agree to the following policies and procedures.

Contraindications & Service Restrictions

Permanent makeup services may not be suitable for everyone. Services may be refused, postponed, or require physician clearance under certain conditions.

​

Permanent makeup services are NOT recommended for clients who:

​

  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding

  • Are currently using Accutane or have used Accutane within the past 12 months

  • Use Retin-A, Retinol, or strong exfoliants near the treatment area

  • Have active acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, or open wounds near the treatment area

  • Have had recent Botox or fillers near the treatment area

  • Have had recent chemical peels, microneedling, or laser treatments

  • Are currently undergoing chemotherapy or radiation

  • Have uncontrolled diabetes

  • Have blood clotting disorders

  • Take blood-thinning medications

  • Have active infections or illnesses

  • Are prone to keloid scarring

  • Have certain autoimmune disorders

  • Have recent sunburn, irritation, or compromised skin near the treatment area

Clients are responsible for disclosing all medical conditions, medications, allergies, and cosmetic procedures prior to receiving services.  Failure to disclose important medical or skin-related information may impact healing/results and may release Vibe Permanent Makeup Studio from liability.

Appointment Only Studio

Vibe Permanent Makeup Studio is an exclusive appointment-only studio. Walk-ins are not accepted under any circumstances. All appointments must be scheduled online in advance.  Our services are designed to enhance your natural beauty and features. Vibe Permanent Makeup Studio does not provide facial sculpting, body contouring, or dramatic cosmetic alteration services.

Guests & Children Policy

Due to the detailed and artistic nature of our services, guests are not permitted during appointments.

​

Please do not bring:

​

  • Children

  • Friends

  • Family members

  • Spouses or partners

  • Pets

​

Any guests accompanying clients may be asked to leave prior to the start of the appointment.

​

Mandatory Consultations

A permanent makeup consultation is required prior to booking any permanent makeup procedure.

Consultations allow our artists to:

​

  • Assess your skin

  • Review medical history and contraindications

  • Discuss goals and expectations

  • Determine service eligibility

  • Create a customized treatment plan designed to complement your natural features

​

Consultation fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

​

Arrival Policy

First-time clients are encouraged to arrive 10–15 minutes early to complete paperwork and settle in before their appointment.

Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may have their appointment automatically canceled and will be subject to the studio cancellation policy.

​

Payments & Deposits

A $50 non-refundable and non-transferable deposit is required to reserve all permanent makeup appointments.

Deposits are applied toward the final balance of the service.

The remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of the appointment.

All payments made to Vibe Permanent Makeup Studio, including deposits, booking fees, services, touch-ups, products, and consultations, are final sale and non-refundable under any circumstances.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Clients must provide at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule appointments.

Failure to provide proper notice may result in forfeiture of deposits/payments and additional cancellation fees.

Repeated cancellations, rescheduling, no-shows, or policy violations may result in refusal of future booking privileges.

Touch-Up Policy

Touch-up appointments are not included in the initial service price unless otherwise stated.

The first touch-up session is typically recommended approximately 6 weeks after the original procedure and is an important part of the permanent makeup process.

​

Additional touch-up sessions may be necessary depending on:

​

  • Skin type

  • Oily skin

  • Lifestyle

  • Medications

  • Healing

  • Pigment retention

  • Previous tattoo work

  • Failure to follow aftercare instructions

​

Additional touch-up sessions will incur additional charges.

​

Existing Permanent Makeup / Corrective Work

Clients with previous permanent makeup, microblading, scalp micropigmentation, or cosmetic tattoo work must submit clear photos to Vibe Permanent Makeup Studio prior to scheduling.

Previous work must be sufficiently faded before new work can be performed.

Vibe Permanent Makeup Studio reserves the right to refuse services on previous work that is:

​

  • Too dark

  • Too saturated

  • Discolored

  • Uneven

  • Poorly shaped

  • Too large or dense

​

Laser tattoo removal may be recommended prior to corrective work.  Corrective or cover-up procedures may require additional sessions, additional time, and additional fees.

​

Healed Results & Expectations

Permanent makeup is considered a cosmetic tattoo and healed results vary for every individual client.

Results are influenced by:

​

  • Skin type

  • Lifestyle

  • Hormones

  • Medications

  • Aftercare compliance

  • Sun exposure

  • Healing ability

  • Previous cosmetic work

  • Pigment retention

​

No guarantees can be made regarding:

​

  • Exact healed color

  • Symmetry

  • Retention

  • Longevity

  • Number of sessions required

​

Clients understand that additional sessions may be required to achieve desired results and additional charges may apply.

Permanent makeup heals differently on every client and final healed results may appear lighter, softer, or different after the healing process.  Clients are encouraged to review all before & aftercare instructions carefully and determine whether the healing process and maintenance requirements align with their lifestyle.

Refund Policy

All sales are final. Vibe Permanent Makeup Studio does not offer refunds under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

​

  • Deposits

  • Booking fees

  • Consultations

  • Services rendered

  • Touch-ups

  • Products

  • Cancellations

  • No-shows

  • Allergic reactions

  • Dissatisfaction with results

  • Personal preference changes

  • Healing outcomes

  • Retention variations

Photography & Media Release

Vibe Permanent Makeup Studio may photograph and/or video procedures for:

​

  • Documentation

  • Portfolio purposes

  • Marketing

  • Social media

  • Educational content

​

Clients may request limited photo usage preferences in writing prior to their appointment.

​

Liability Waiver

By booking and receiving services, clients voluntarily consent to permanent makeup services and acknowledge the risks associated with cosmetic tattoo procedures.

​

Clients release Vibe Permanent Makeup Studio, its owner, artist(s), and affiliates from liability related to:

​

  • Allergic reactions

  • Sensitivities

  • Swelling

  • Pigment changes

  • Retention issues

  • Aftercare noncompliance

  • Healing complications

  • Dissatisfaction due to unrealistic expectations

  • Withheld medical information

​

Electronic Agreement

By booking an appointment, submitting payment, checking acknowledgment boxes, completing intake forms, and/or receiving services, clients confirm that:

​

  • They have read and understood these policies in full

  • They voluntarily agree to all terms and conditions

  • They understand these policies apply to all current and future appointments

  • Their electronic acknowledgment serves as a legally binding agreement
